solly's for bagels and cinnamon buns
the reef patio (even when it's freezing) for jerk chicken and pitchers of ginger mojitos
montmartre cafe for bronx cheer on tuesday nights (really hilarious improv)
lots of free booze parties at the little art galleries up by 28th, usually on a friday or saturday
eugene choo, JONATHAN AND OLIVIA!!! and tons of other little clothing stores
jj bean and bean around the world for hanging out and drinking coffee
habit has good food
the five point for beers
the tea place, forgot what it's called
the foundation for a little hepatitis with your humus
the best thai food ever (EVER) is at sawasdee on main and 27th
i work by main, and i like it a lot.

oh and nyala if you like eating with your hands. when it was in kits, super spicy lentil curry and a castle beer was my favorite dinner on a hot day.

When I took the bus home from downtown yesterday for the first time I was looking at all the lil stores and so over whelmed.
I can't wait for a sunny day when I can go wonder around.

Au Petite Cafe (just north of 33rd) = BEST Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi) ever and so cheap
Windsor Meats = great pork & steaks

I just got back from there and had to resist the urge to go look for clothes. It's pretty much the only place I buy clothes now.
