I am terrible to my clothes...

clothes often end up crumpled up on the floor

shoes get tossed in a pile in various closets

purses are jammed under my bed

The clothes on the floor is just plain laziness, but what storage ideas do you have for shoes and purses?

Also, what do you do with your hats? Me and my bf have hats just sitting on various surfaces around the house...mainly in the kitchen and dining room. It drives me bonkers but I don't know what to do with them. Please help!

My sister hsa lots and lots of extra shoe boxes from ikea and she lables all of them and throws the box into a closet to sit. Its kinda funny where she leaves the boxes.

she already admitted to being lazy...

i think you need a wall wardrobe - i have the same problem as you sometimes, and i think the only thing that would save my clothes all over issue is one of them...

You can use something like these and use baskets on the shelves. I use a lot of baskets in my daughters room and it's way easier. You could also put a shoe rack in one of the bigger cupboards. You can also get those flat tupperware containers that can slide under your bed, to store things like shoes and clothes you don't use anymore. There are some wall wardrobes @ Ikea, but I am sure there are better ones elsewhere too.

I also use bigger tupperware containers on the floor of my closets for my purses and other things, I have tupperware containers above on the shelving aswell.

Don't hats stack on top of eachother? Cuz you could just pick one of those shelves (in the smaller cupboard shelf) and stack hats on there.

good call on the wardrobe/cupboard thing...I could have an entire unit devoted to shoes blush

yes, the hats do stack, good point...now if only I could train my bf to stack his hats...

I already have 2 closets (1 large, 1 smaller) and a full size dresser full of my clothes but they're really stuffed in there...I guess I need a bigger house or fewer clothes blank stare

Oh gawd, I just remembered I have more clothes to hang up.

I live in a bachelor suite and do not have a lot of closet space, but they have handy shelves. I don't buy a lot of clothes for this reason, so when I do buy clothes I reeaalllly have to like them.
