so true!!
codieine, tylenol 3, etc. will fully do a number on your liver ...to the point that it almost becomes a trade off ...pain-killers (take away pain) temporarily vs overloading your liver .

yeah, milk thistle is great to treat liver problems and also useful to protect your liver from damage if taken prior to consuming pain killers or alcohol.

there are 5 liver blood tests that you can do when you do a full blood test. i had 3 of 5 liver blood tests which were not normal and i took milk thistle for 1 week and all my liver tests went normal. Milk thistle is the top natural herb to take if you have abnormal liver tests. it worked for me and i take a liquild form which tastes awlful and is sold for about $36 at alive health stores which is all over the lower mainland. i have done extensive research on milk thistle. and my liver tests are ok now.
