The rules are different on the street though.. if it had been a street fight, Kimbo would have gotten up after a few seconds and kept fighting, with no ref to call it off early.. wouldn't he? Or would he....

kimbo was done, if the ref hadnt stopped it he would have been knocked out
the womens fight was awesome, too bad it was a unanimous decision, that other chick fought her ass off. a split decision would have shown her some respect she deserved

Are you allowed to pinch in MMA? Would pinching of the nipples really hard be an effective move? Just get those nipples between your fingers and clamp down and twist it really hard.

Kimbo got KTFO and really kind of exposed. Elite XC ****ed themselves over on this one since he was one of their main draws who got beat by a relative unknown (like you say guy had a 1 year off and 2 days to prepare).
I loved how the announcer tried to brush it off like it shouldn't effect kimbo and he wasn't the same guy coming out as he was prepping for shamrock.
There was no way kimbo can argue that stoppage, although I will say all of about one of petruzellis punches hit him while he was stunned, when they show the replay 2 or 3 punches completely miss his head then when he rolls over on his back 1 maybe 2 hit him then the ref jumps in, but the initial kicking of his arm away then a straight right completely dropped him.
Kobold did alright and did deserve a bit more respect out of the judges but again its elite xc for some reason a ref stood up kimbo and thomson while thomson had side control and was doing damage...
Anyone else find Carano kinda hot??

I had to laugh when "brawling" was listed as kimbo's style.
Elite XC is a real joke and it made me appreciate UFC a lot more.

temptasia is right.elite xc is a joke.they banked everything on kimbo and he was a fraud. Pride was better than Ufc back in the day but it's gone now.
