it depends on what you're going for, but i will NOT date anyone younger than 21. it's true - girls at that age are headcases for the most part.
(i'm not saying that guys aren't, for the record. i mean i was probably pretty much a headcase until a few years ago in terms of dating.)

Huggles:
If the girl in question thought that by opening a door for her, you were gonna get in her pants, she is creating a ridiculously low standard for the rest of us to battle....I think it is common courtesy and chivalrous, it is not a bad thing to do, some doors are heavy and awkward, especially to restaurants
I'd rather a man do it than stand there while I struggle with it.....

I open doors for people all the time and don't think twice about it... but I know that when some (some ) guys hold the door open it's just because they want to check out your ass. Outside of that it's just a common courtesy, no?

Seriously sick of this age group.
My last two relationships were in that range. Around about 23 is when they start to solidify where they want to be going in life. So far in both cases that's been without me.
Not interested anymore in sticking around with a chick just for her to decide she doesn't want to be with me. Older chicks actually have an idea what they want.
Currently eyeing a 29-year-old. If she turns out to be super-bitter, then cool, I'm optimistic enough for the both of us.

I began to date a girl when she was 24,who ended up being married. Of course I didn't know till 1.5 years later. Goes to show you even women of this age group are incredibly scandalous...regardless of how much in denial they are.

I'm 29 and was WAY more bitter in my early 20's trying to race down the alter and get knocked up.
Now I don't even see kids in my future. Too much of my life involves traveling and things that are far from a parent leading by example.

A lot of women I have talked to lately(28-32), are more into having fun with their lives,, they dont want the drama of an uber serious-look for the red flags relationship; just some good old fasioned fun. Opening a door for a woman (or anyone) should just be normal.

^ ya you are gay, get real.
21-24 = usual drama. I am slowly understanding that those my age or older are actually normal at times but it is VERY hard to find, yes.

If I was a guy, I wouldn't have dated me between 18-21...definitley way too naive and immature to deal with my own emotions and a partner's in a relationship.
