and personally i'm not surprised that dickss has yet again taken the mature and respectful approach in these forums.
especially during these difficult times when there is such pain and sorrow for mccain's loss.
so many pro-mccain and pro-palin threads. so many anti-obama threads where obama was called many playful names such as a moron and a vulgar marxist snob. so many foxnews style of debating where maturity and honesty is king.
show me how its done dickss! you're the only hope to keep current affairs together!

I don't think I'll be posting very much at all in this forum anymore
I haven't posted much in a while, and there's far too much negativity in here
it's a shame that someone like mythos can single-handedly destroy any potential for serious and meaningful discussion, but that's how it is and there's nothing that can be done about it

it's not about 'things not going my way'
it's about talking politics with reasonable ppl
what I've always liked about diseasedanus is that you can have disagreements with him and he doesn't go nuts
mythos simply isn't like that and he's poisoned this forum... everything is personal with him and it's impossible to have a serious discussion around here with a childish, immature jackass like him running around
so I'll just go to other forums where there is more reasoned discussion and debate and proper moderation to weed out the dipshi.ts

the problem with mythos isn't that he's not very smart
he isn't very smart, but that's not the problem
the problem is he thinks he's a lot smarter than he really is
add to that the fact that he takes everything so personally and it becomes impossible to discuss anything with him rationally
oh sure, he's fine as long as the only thing you say is 'I totally agree with you mythos' but that's not rational discussion
if on the other hand you say something like 'I disagree with you and here's why' then he'll go apeshi.t because he thinks he's a lot smarter than he really is, and he takes everything personally
he's basically poisoned this forum
with the lack of moderation in here, it has signalled that this poor behaviour is tolerated and accepted
so all that remains is a forum where everybody must agree with mythos or else they'll be driven out by this extremely childish behaviour

I'm not talking about policy, politics, current affairs or obama
I'm done with talking about things like these in here
it's not worth it to me to put thought and consideration into making a serious post about a serious subject only to have mythos ruin the thread by pulling his monkey-boy routine
however I don't have any problem with continuing this thread talking about what's wrong with this forum because I believe that with some proper steps it can become a worthwhile place
