I live in a great neighbourhood with proximity to everything I could ever need.
but it is not on the mainland so I won't go into it.

South East Vancouver
Fun / Central to other parts of Vancouver
-makes visiting friends in Richmond, Burnaby, Downtown, Kits much easier...and in less than 20 mins drive. Having convenient options is fun.
Transit
There is plenty of bus routes and buses to make using transit bearable.
I take transit during the week day...and I am glad I don't have to cross any bridges on my way to work. The completion of the Canada line will be nice.
Restaurants/Cafes/Lounges:
-I am close to south Main St. restaurants...plenty of places to eat or have a drink
-Little India for butter chicken
-Penny Lane Pub for some PPV hockey
Shopping
-Oakridge
-Main St.
Parks
-Queen E.
-Riley Community Centre
-Nat Bailey Stadium
-Memorial Park
-Langara Golf Course
