A friend just got a Mac book thingy with the little built in cam. I have a pc.
Is it possible to have video chat between the two?
Probably a dumb question as I'm sure there's a way.
She just got the thing, has no idea how to even snap a picture with the camera. Nor can she figure out at all what software to use....i.e. does she need to DL something? Can you use MSN on the Mac?
Is there apple software that is like MSN that I can run off of a PC?

If she DLs MSN and just clicks "start webcam" or whatever it will basically automatically fire up/detect the webcam for her?
Is skype free?

iChat is the same as AIM, but I'm not sure if you can cam with a PC user with AIM.
MSN for Mac can't use the built in cam.
Skype works across the board for cam chats.

You'd be even smarter just to pick up one of those mac book thingys too.

mac version of msn doesn't support web cam.
you can use yahoo, skype, AIM/ichat.

I'm curious as to how to take pictures on Macs. I can't figure it out, is it in iphoto?

Photo Booth to take webcam pics and then you can store in iphoto if you like.
