I was looking for rashies before I left for Australia and I do recall seeing some cool beach hats at year-round surf/swim shops on West 4th.

I didn't see anything I liked so I waited until I got there and found endless choices... you might not find much right now cuz it's February and I'm sure Mexico will have a plethora of beach hats.
