well, used isn't ideal, but might be an option
I'm taking the family to Mexico, we leave tomorrow early morning. I contacted a local orphanage by email a while back asking them what they needed. (I plan to take my kids there to teach them about compassion blah blah .. )
The guys didn't respond to my email till now and we packed the wrong sh1t (toys). He says they are desperate for clothes.
I could buy some down there but I don't wanna spend my beach time in a Mexican Wall Mart.
Would used clothes be ok? Value Village stuff? Beggars can't be choosers right?
I'd rather buy new, but it would have to be cheap, they have 15 kids there.

i recommend buying there. you wouldn't need to take all the clothes with you and it will be quite cheap to buy the clothes there as long as you're able to get out of the tourist area.

If you're staying at a resort, leave some toys n kids clothes for the cleaning ladies as well. Guarantied to stock your fridge full of beers !
