Like someone else pointed out, I'm guessing that whoever owned the gear is probably more concerned about these two guys snitching than the 70 kgs that were seized. Given that both guys are from BC, they probably know the principals fairly well. They probably know all about the entire operation.
They'll get less time than Rob Shannon, the BC guy sentenced in Washington State last week. He got 20 years for his part in an elaborate smuggling operation. These two guys are just mules. They probably didn't co-ordinate programs and accounts.

I feel sorry for those two. Nothing can change the sad fact that they have to not only awnser to cops but the people they are dealt with. They will be shot. If not them aquaintances of them

I wouldn't imagine the drug organization will be that upset as long as these two keep their mouths shut.
I mean if it wasn't for the bit about them swerving when they saw a cop, I'm sure it would just be written off as the cost of doing business. As it is, whoever hired them might get a stern talking to for hiring morons, but it doesn't really make sense to take vengeance on these guys just because they are dumb.
