Winter Olympics were in Sarajevo in 1984, Calgary was 88.
I know a guy with a gold medal from the summer games in Seoul in 88.

LOL My work bought 150k of these bad boys last week.
Victory ceremony is $20 tickets, its like a big party downtown. They have the same in Whistler in the North Village.

Awards ceremonies were free in Calgary in 88. Thousands of people, families could go down any time they wanted.
