Using CV to promote your clubnight / party will do nothing if your threads sink to the bottom of the forum and disappear after two days.
The only way to rectify this is to get your customers to become active members of the clubvibes forums. Everyone will see through any clubnight thread continuously bumped by several "fake accounts" (See any Atlantis thread in the last year).
In years gone past members of clubvibes were directly responsible for the success or failure of many a clubnight. Especially when in Vancouver it is notoriously hard to get anyone to pack a weeknight clubnight, sometimes the only regulars were active posters on the site. It gives the first time visitor to the club a sense that something was happening and that it was worth staying around.

Not at all, I haven't been to a nightclub in years, and I am clearly not the target demographic any longer. What I am saying is that in order for CV Promotion Threads to work they need to create a sense of community. It used to be here for the picking but poor management of the site and upstarts like Facebook and Twitter ran it off.
