If you have been to a killer club that defined your trip please let me know. I just got back from the Dominican Republic and can honestley say I was blown away with a club in Punta Cana.
The Club is Called Mangu and is one of the best action bars I have ever seen. From top 40 and house downstairs to killer techno upstairs they have it going off. The dj's are intense, the light and sound set up is crazy. The vibe was party all week long, it didn't matter if it was a tues or sat it was nothing but crazy.
if you want to take a look at Mangu check out Mangudiscobar.com
Please let me know if you have found a club that you would say is world class

just to be clear, there really aren't any clubs that are that great in Vancouver, sorry people looking gobal here. Fabric would be the closest thing I could think of in Van that is even close to the level of club.

Too many female "Entertainment Consultants". Most are probably crawling with the hiv as well.
Areito and Cortecito were better. Pacha at the Riu sucks balls.

Going to the DR for sex tourism hardly makes you global guy.
And you have clearly never been to Tommy's.

Further, going to Punta Cana to go "clubing" is absolutely retarded.
It is just tourists and employees of the hotels. Nowhere near the pulse.

the point of this post is lost on both of you, Bassfreak you haven't put in anything of use other than where you don't think the "pulse" is, and Esta I have been to Tommy's and no it is not that great. Plus to lable someone as a Sex tourist is insulting and makes you sound like a looser just the type of guy who would need to pay for sex in the first place. If you have anything of value ie. good international clubs than I welcome your input, otherwise go shit on some other post

^ bassfreak did mention Areito and Cortecito in his first post.
for me it is all about the company you keep. anyplace with a live band is good for me, with dj between sets. i have been to a couple multilevel places which are very convenient and cool but honestly the best places are the tiny bars with live bands and no cover at the door.

The Sound Factory in San Fran, early '90s. That was a good international club.
Probably better than Tommy's but I can't really say cuz I've never been to Tommy's.

I have never been to Sound Factory or Tommy's. I have been to SF and Maple Ridge. So on that basis I would have to say that Tommy's is probably better. All this talk is making me crave for cheesecake and pancakes! I did have this amazing "tower of pancakes" a couple weeks ago. 4 small fluffy buttermilk pancakes sandwiched together with creamcheese and a zesty orange syrup! it was amazing! washed it down with a green mango shake... mmmm....

Aura - Paradise Island, Bahamas
Kapital - Lisbon, Portugal
I could say a few clubs in Vegas just because of the setup and sound, but the music they play in the US clubs is so ridiculously outdated, Vancouver even has better music.
