are you gonna go see the 3D final destination? something about 3D horror that seems....oh....I don't know...unnecessary.

I am with cherrypoptart, House of 1000 Corpses, and The Devils Rejects were awesome. I loved his version of Halloween, haven't seen part 2 yet.

not really horror. a suspense thriller.
frailty.

i find that many horror movies are good for the first 2 acts. then the monster comes out and the eye rolling begins. i enjoyed jeepers creepers until the cop car scene. watch up to that and turn it off. mirrors until jack bauer's detective skills find the big discovery. that was a re-make so i would like to see the original korean flick.

i do not know any less obvious ones:
alien
the descent
tale of two sisters (korean suspense)

amusing ones:
hell hotel

try Suspria...

John Carpenter's The Prince of Darkness is so 80's but worth a look..it's fun.

The Hills Have Eyes 1 and 2...original from Wes Craven.

i never watched the Saw's, High Tension, Hostel's, or Turista. or Descent. or the Ruins.

i think it also depends who you watch it with.

an ex had never watched Friday the 13th before so i had to make her watch it. she fell off the couch onto the floor at one point hands in the air. while a friend had never watched the original Halloween. so i made her watch that. she was like, "meh, i guess it was frightening when you were a child". she was off the couch onto the floor at one point...

i prefer to watch horror movies by myself with nobody around and not in the theatre.

28 days was nice
