This headline may come as a bit of a surprise, so too might that fact that the warmest year recorded globally was not in 2008 or 2007, but in 1998.
But it is true. For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures.
And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.

How about the FACTS that show the ice caps size and thickness whittling away?

There are always holes/cracks in the ice. Just like that BBC story.

You know, there are also mammals that live there. They don't eat ice. Some in fact, tend to eat stuff that is in the water. Water that is not frozen.

dude, the whole global warming thing is based on computer models. so far the computer models have been wrong. i have a feeling they are a lot more wrong about the future.

Yeah, I got the sub through holes in the ice thing, the first time.

Of course there are ****ing holes there you tard. Whales like to breath air up there, just as much as sailors do. And have been doing so for a much longer time.

Look, I hope as much as everyone else does that global warming thing is a hype machine. But like most things in life, the two extreme opinions are usually about equally wrong.

They do call it climate change, not global warming.

I wonder if we will be refunded the wasted money we all contribute to this cause that is quickly be shown as a complete and total made up fantasy. Carbon tax, Carbon credits...

oh, that's convenient. instead of something we could actually measure, like temperature, it's all about some ambiguous, poorly defined term like change. that kind of goes against the whole scientific method thing.

btw, the climate is always changing.
