About Palace Theatre
Located in the city's Playhouse Square, the Palace Theatre has unique charm. Built in 1922 for two million dollars, the theatre was once considered the swankiest vaudeville theatre in the country, attracting celebrities from all over the country. When the era of vaudeville was over, the Palace went through a series of renovations and came back as a beautiful cimerana theater that today hosts plenty of traveling Broadway shows, such as the acclaimed hit "Movin' Out."
