About Remo's
Go sniffing around Woof's and you may learn a few new things, such as that there are certain groups who prefer leather or, um, people of size. But it's a friendly spot and even non-regulars (read: straight women) are invited to stay and watch the strip show. But most of the focus is on gay males, and if you're looking for love it might be the right place, as long as you're over 21. Saturdays usually see cookouts on the patio -- nothing fancy, just burgers and such. Other evenings feature DJs, a cowboy theme and something called "Hairyoke," which may make bald guys feel even more self-conscious when they get up on stage to sing their favorite tune. The no-frills but clean decor is offset by a jukebox, lots of video games and plenty of bar space, although a back room is also available for more private conversation, with a patio built to accommodate smokers.
