About J & R Grill & Bar
A modest layout, J&R offers friendly service and all the bar basics, although the food menu makes it a cut above other pit stops. Don't expect the usual pub grub when you sipping on a cold one. Sure, they have the usual finger food appetizers, but if you want something that sticks to you for a while, try the pizzas, lasagne, steaks and donairs if you plan on staying for a bit. Work it off with a couple games of pool courtesy of two billiard tables in the spot.

J&R would have all the makings of a sports bar if not for the fact that they only have basic cable and they're only open on Sunday at 2 p.m., meaning that you'll miss half the NFL itinerary that day if you have stateside gridiron on the brain. Still, you can catch other options like NHL, NBA, auto racing or other events by way of four TVs in the joint. The added bonus of swilling on a Sunday? Happy hour prices until closing!
