This diminutive but nicely appointed family-owned-and-operated Lake Country establishment is quite different from the surrounding local pubs. Targeting a more upscale clientele, it presents itself as a pleasant early-evening place to linger over a drink. Mellow Frank Sinatra tunes and jazz medleys provide a cosmopolitan audio backdrop, while the selection of 70 bottled import beers and a decent assortment of Irish-pub-style drafts let you know you're not at a corner dive. To nurture a family clientele and discourage late-night rowdies, the bar closes at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 on weekends. Full service dining includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- pizzas, subs, chicken and burgers are the specialty.
