About Patio 79
The lonely, industrial strip along Earhart leading to Carrollton has become a whole lot noisier and funkier thanks to Patio 79. On any given night a live reggae band may bring the Caribbean indoors, or big names such as Kermit Ruffins may rock the house till the sun comes up. Outside on the patio, barbecues, crawfish boils and drinking under the moonlight make a lively scene in an unlikely part of town. The patio is also available for private parties -- very private parties.

Patio 79 is rapidly becoming a hot spot for Saints game Sundays, with giant screen TVs, drink specials and pool tournaments. Don't be fooled by the exterior -- what used to be just another office building can now become your ''after-hours office.''
