About Kennedy's
If you could smoke cigarettes inside this dark and musty dive, you'd stomp your butts out right on the floor and never think twice about it. But that's what makes this rundown joint all the more happening. It's Manhattan's East Village in Santa Barbara, a NYC kind of vibe that's no nonsense and to the point. They regularly book an array of local bands of all different flavors and despite this bars gruff approach, it's a "must hit" weekend spot that should be added to everyone's clubbing list of downtown dives. -- GDM
