About Uptown Cinemas
Queen Anne's sidewalk cinema, a block north and a block west from Seattle Center, shows first-run commercial movies. Digital sound brings the older but well-maintained theater up to date. The three screens are bigger than average, and the rooms they're in, are spacious. Tickets are $8 for adults, $4.50 for kids and seniors, $5 for adults for shows before 6p. Parking on the street can be impossible. Pay parking is available in many nearby lots.
