This loft-like, bi-level bar is perhaps best known for its glass-walled unisex bathrooms. (Don’t expect an eyeful. The stalls frost over and become opaque when occupied.) But for a Soho space with such flashy facilities, the fare is surprisingly unfussy. The menu is mainly devoted to simple chopped salads and hearty sandwiches, including a delectable triple-decker club stacked with plump slices of bacon and a juicy peppercorn-encrusted half-pound burger au poivre. As you’ll quickly learn, the fancy fruit-flavored martinis are this bar’s bread and butter. And while the eatery recalls a certain Sex and the City-era chic—what with the designer-clad, cocktail-swilling crowd, stark white walls, and striking floor-to-ceiling glass façade—the oversized black leather banquettes remain consistently crammed with customers. — Alexis Korman
