Hands down THE best time I've had at a bar in the Gaslamp or anywhere in all of San Diego and I have been to them all. The staff is amazingly warm (and very attractive might i add) and they make you feel right at home. The bar itself is the perfect place for watching all the sports channels on HD at once displayed on over 14 different flat screens throughout the bar all while sipping on ice cold frothy beers and delicious mixed drinks for the cheapest prices I've seen yet for Happy Hour anywhere. I'm serious, this place has it all (including a smoking hot wait staff like i mentioned before. Just check out the girls on their website to see what i mean at (http://tasteandthirst.com) and if that weren't enough, their food is excellent and not your typical sloppy bar food at all. My favorite is definitely a toss up between the fully loaded crispy crunchy tatter tots nestled under a blanket of bacon and your choice of cheese served with the special special sauce that really makes that dish delectable and the sampler platter which features all of my favs like the golden crisp chicken strips, the thick cut onion rings, mozzarella and zucchini sticks...oops, i have to stop i just drooled on myself thinking about it. Greatest part? It is served in a very timely manner and really hits the spot each time. The best part, its all priced to suit the frugal spender who is looking for an amazing time out on the town but doesn't want to have to pay those ridiculous gaslamp prices. Kudos to you at Taste and Thirst for providing such a cool place for San Diegans to have a great time watching sports and drinking and eating (and watching the waitresses walk by) and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home where me n my buddies can eat and drink to our hearts' content without having to give up our entire paycheck. Your service to the San Diego community is not going unappreciated. We will definitely be seeing you again for T-Bone Tuesdays this week!!!!!! mmmmm delicious steak mmm Man! you guys sure do have all the bases covered. Definitely doing more than just something right.
