Since going "karaoke" in 1993, The Mint Karaoke Lounge has grown to become one of America's best known karaoke bars. Centrally located, the popular Market Street lounge attracts an exceptionally diverse group of the San Francisco Bay Area's top singers. The Mint also boasts the best KJ's, the best singers, and one of the largest karaoke collections in the Bay area. Despite its well deserved reputation, the crowd at The Mint is always receptive to newcomers and first-timers.



Open 365 days a year, Karaoke Hours at The Mint are from 4:00 PM T0 2:00 AM Monday through Friday. Although regular KJ's start at 7:00 PM, your bartender will take care of your karaoke needs. If you are planning a party of 10 or more between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM weekdays, let us know and we'll arrange a KJ for you. Saturdays and Sundays are for the hard core karaokeans who come in to "Warm-Up" at 4:00 PM and go on till 2:00 AM.



The Mint is a full service bar with a large selection of domestic and imported draught beers. For the nondrinker, The Mint has a selection of nonalcoholic beers, and a full line of soft-drinks. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There are no cover charges or song charges and, for a big city lounge, the drinks are very reasonable.



Selected the "Best Karaoke Lounge in the Bay Area" by the Bay Guardian, Peoples Choice Award by the San Francisco Chronicle, The Mint has been featured on CNN Headline News, KPIX Channel 5 in San Francisco, VIACOM Cable Channel 35, and was recently the subject of a yet to be released documentary about karaoke.



The Mint is always available to host your party, at no additional cost. For medium to large parties during off karaoke hours, arrangements can be made to schedule a KJ for your party. To schedule your party, please call The Mint at 626.4726.
